A winter storm warning was issued for southeastern Suffolk County through 3 p.m. Friday, with accumulations of snow predicted to be between 5 to 8 inches, according to the National Weather Service.

Most schools in the area were closed and many activities canceled. Check school district websites for information on individual school districts.

Southampton Town and East Hampton Town officials closed all town offices and facilities.

Snow was expected to taper off after noon, with winds at 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

Travel is expected to be dangerous and officials are advising motorists to stay off the roads except in emergencies.

Yep, Just enough to line the pockets of the plow drivers while they drive around town destroying property working O. T.

Stack up traffic make us late to work and cause tree and house damage from the wight of the snow.

Seems like this is the Land of the living dead not there !

All my neighbors went to Florida this year for the first time. You can purchase a 3 bedroom 2 bath home with a pool and a 2 car garage for less than $300,000. Plus no state income tax. No pot holes . You can only find blizzards in diary queen .
