Apparently with-in the first few hours of Trump's presidency he wiped out all women's rights - how did he do it and how come I didn't see it in the news? We should all feel very sorry for these women and hope they get their rights back.
Also, Madonna was the picture of liberalism. Now I'm glad Trump won, because with-out him in there, the Libs would be taking away all the rights of every Conservative.

God Bless America!

I agree that Madonna is embarrassing, and not representative of how any respectable woman should behave. As for disrespect, however, that trophy goes to a man whose complete and utter lack of respect of women has been on full display for decades starting with the rape of his wife, his vulgar and prideful utterances on the Howard Stern show, his walking in on undressed teen contestants in his beauty pageants, the tape with Billy Bush, the appalling ignoring of Melania and lack of gentlemanliness ...more

By bigfresh (4591), north sea on Jan 23, 17 10:41 AM
If he does what he says, women's rights associated with reproductive choices and access to health care are in serious danger in this country. Here are three examples to back up what I'm saying:

(1) He has said that he supports overturning Roe v. Wade - "That'll happen automatically, in my opinion, because I am putting pro-life justices on the court" (3rd presidential debate). If I need to explain to you why this is an important right for women, just stop reading now.

Overwhelmed with ignorance?

Two thirds of all abortion procedures occur within the first eight weeks (no heartbeat), and over ninety percent occur before 13 weeks. A corpse's heart can be jogged into beating, though the individual is deceased.

Anything after that is normally due to protecting the health of the mother.

Your paranoia is nearly insufferable, and this law would outlaw less than ten percent of abortions.

I didn't say miscarriage isn't extremely difficult and I apologize if my comment came off as insensitive. I'm not heartless and I have experienced the pain of miscarriage firsthand. I get it. Trump's tweet this morning, "If the ban were announced with a one week notice, the "bad" would rush into our country during that week. A lot of bad "dudes" out there!" Are you serious? First of all, people can't just rush to get a visa within a week, especially from those countries included in the ban. That's ridiculous and not at all how our immigration system works. No, I obviously can't predict the future. But when many experts say there are no data to suggest this ban will make the US any safer, and Trump's language around it is built on fear and discrimination, I would definitely argue it could only make the situation worse. Yes, that's my opinion, but I'm not the only one who thinks this. This week, the media has been a buzz following the resignation of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. Flynn’s departure has cast a bright light on the Trump administrations’ potential ties to Russia.

The question now, however, is whether or not the latest fiasco has served more as a distraction from more pressing ...more

That's your takeaway from that deranged display of clustercoital meltdown? That bizarre whine session? That show of racist and religious hate? That lie fest? Something that has serious people in a 5-alarm state?

Apart from the fact that trump is the one needing "schooling", in what form of democracy do you think it appropriate or admirable that a president "schools" a watchdog? Or whose obvious mission is to discredit the Fourth Estate which exists for the benefit of you and me as ...more

racist and religious hate??!! Please elaborate. The "watchdog" (CNN) has been nothing more than a sewer of fake news and hate filled rhetoric aimed at President Trump, starting when he started to look like he could win the election. The liberal Democrat Party propaganda wing fired up the smear machine and sent CNN into the fray, first giving Hillary debate questions ahead of time followed by a torrent of flat out lies and attacks against Trump. He just gave it back to them and the fragile snowflakes ...more

The truth is that The Donald hates the entirely of the mainstream media (not just CNN) because it persists in reporting the multiple, daily instances of his dishonest, unprepared and undisciplined behavior. The Donald (and his minions) are simply angry that it objectively reports his constant pratfalls instead of just repeating his version of reality.

Parenthetically, CNN denies that it ever gave Hillary debate questions in advance. Your allegation is simply another ...more

Much deeper than just trump's egotism. The attempt to discredit the media is right out of the autocratic handbook. Create doubt, then you have control. Exactly what Putin did in Russia. Have to look up his name, but a congressman is on video actually telling his audience a couple of weeks ago that the only thing you can trust is what comes out of trump's mouth. Uh, huh.
Anyone who wants to know what's actually happening needs to pay attention to Malcolm Nance. Points from his book "The ...more

Please tell me how trump was not created by the mainstream media (with Putin's help, of course) when his insufferable clown shows were covered beginning to end day and night all summer and fall. Prior to that in modern history, you might get a snippet of a candidate's appearance somewhere, never ever would it have been covered in full. If the sensible Fairness Doctrine hadn't been repealed by the Devil Reagan, that would have never happened.
This anti-media campaign of his is something altogether ...more

JuneZ by "watchdog " do you mean the liberal media who called any criticism of Barsk Hussein Obama RACE based? The ones who legitimized BLM? The ones that blamed the police for the Ferguson riots? Those alleged journalists are the watchdogs? Really?
By bigfresh (4591), north sea on Feb 18, 17 2:32 PM
Uh, fresh, singling out these 3 items as irksome to you is more than revealing. That President Obama was considered illegitimate, forced to produce his birth certificate, and completely obstructed was pure and simple racism; the press wasn't needed to "legitimize" BLM, and the Ferguson riots were precipitated by a murder committed by a cop. For you to distort truth and reduce it to liberal v. conservative is beyond stupid and/or racist.
As for media, you do know the bulk of mainline media is ...more

Seems as if the FACT that Trump communicates directly to the American people without the filter of the MSM is a problem to you and most of the left JuneZ, why is that? Of course we have Freedom of the Press, thank God, it's one of the most important Parts of the Bill of Rights, but that doesn't mean that the President can't communicate directly to the nation. The press has treated Trump much more harshly than Barak Hussein Obama, he's just responding in kind, quite refreshing .

"Filter"? Seriously? Perhaps you'd be happier in a country that didn't intentionally make Freedom of the Press its very first foundational principle.
As for "communicating directly to the people", I take it you're referring to the obscene rallies trump requires for his adulation addiction, and, apart from campaigning for a second term, no respectable president would even think of holding. You've been conned by a narcissistic sociopath that also happens to be a serial/pathological liar.
