The Poxabogue Golf Center, which opened for the season last week, is under new management following the termination of the facility’s former manager in October.

In a press release on Friday, Southampton Town, which owns the center, announced that Pin High Golf Management LLC “has settled” into the Sagaponack facility over the last few weeks, having been hired over the winter to oversee operations and maintenance of the nine-hole public golf course, as well as the pro shop and driving range.

Poxabogue was previously managed by Steven Lee Golf Inc., whose owner, Steven Lee of Ronkonkoma, was arrested after authorities said he took an inappropriate photograph of an underage girl at the facility, then shared it with employees.

Southampton Town Police charged him in October 2015 with second-degree unlawful surveillance, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor. Police said he used his cellphone to take an “upskirt” photo in late July as she sat on a bench outside a one-way clubhouse window. Three employees reported to police on October 15 that they had viewed the image, although it was unclear why the incident was not reported for three months.

Mr. Lee is due to appear in Southampton Town Justice Court on June 21, according to a court representative.

Meanwhile, the Southampton Town Board agreed to hire Pin High at its December 22 regular meeting after receiving bids from seven companies, according to the meeting’s minutes.

Pin High is managed by Steve Feder, a member of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America with more than 25 years of municipal golf operations experience, according to Friday’s press release. His support team at Poxabogue includes by Michael Giglio, the director of outside operations, and Laura Vecchio, the general manager.

The Fairway Restaurant, also located at the center, will continue to operate under the management of Dan Murray.

“We are very excited about the opportunity to revitalize the Poxabogue Golf Center and are certain that the improvements will be welcomed by residents and visitors alike,” Mr. Feder said in the release.
