Construction Worker Flown To Hospital Following Fall In Southampton

A construction worker was flown to an area hospital following a fall at a Flying Point Road construction site on Wednesday morning just after 8 a.m.

Details about the accident were still sketchy as of 9 a.m. According to Southampton Town Police Sergeant William Kiernan, the helicopter landed at a ball field, also on Flying Point Road.

Southampton Town Police and the Southampton Fire Department have been called to the scene. Additional information was not available.

Is there a reason the facebook page of 27 east included an advertisement of a local law office that obviously handles personal injury cases with the headline of this incident?

So SH Press, what became of the unlucky soul who fell and had to be airlifted? Did he make it? maybe some follow up.
