UPDATE: Kardashian Family Rents North Sea Home For Summer

Jun 3, 2014 1:20 PM

UPDATE: Tuesday, 12:45 p.m.

The Kardashian family has rented a five-bedroom home on Noyac Road in North Sea for the summer, sources have confirmed.

According to a listing by Douglas Elliman Real Estate, the home—which is listed as both 317 and 319 Noyac Road—rents for $295,000 between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The home, which sits on 3 acres in North Sea, is roughly 8,900-square-feet, and has five bedrooms and six bathrooms. The house also comes equipped with a heated pool and a private dock.

The house is just a short drive from Southampton Village, where the famous family has opened a pop-up location for their store, DASH. Filming for their series, "Khloe and Kourtney take the Hamptons," which is set to debut on E! Network this fall, started today, with film crews present both at the house and on Jobs Lane and Main Street in the village.

DASH, the pop-up clothing boutique owned by reality family the Kardashians, officially opened its doors in Southampton Village on Monday morning.

The store, located at 64 Jobs Lane, opened for business at 10 a.m. on Monday morning, though the Kardashians were not on site. Throughout the summer, two of the Kardashian sisters—Khloé and Kourtney—will be filming their reality series “Kourtney and Khloé Take The Hamptons,” on the East End, slated to make its E! network premiere this fall. According to Southampton Village officials, the famous clan filed for a filming permit with the village last week, and filming is set to start on Jobs Lane and Main Street tomorrow.

In March, E! Entertainment Television announced the next iteration of the Kardashians’ popular “Take” franchise, “Kourtney and Khloé Take The Hamptons”—in tune with previous “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” spinoffs, including “Kourtney and Kim Take Miami” and “Kourtney and Kim Take New York.”

“Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” now in its ninth season, follows the personal and professional lives of the Kardashian/Jenner family and has spurred a number of spinoffs. This is the first focused on the East End. The third Kardashian sister, Kim, who recently married rapper Kanye West, is also expected to spend time in the Hamptons this summer.

If 27east insists on covering this kind of crap, I will end my subscription. You are better than that. In my short 35 years of living here, on constant was that
the Southampton Press was not in the paparazzi business. Gliterari or whatever they are, were not chased and covered in the Press. Please don't start now.
These people do not define the east end.

Welcome young maidens. We bring you good tidings. May the summer bring you good fortune and may you never have any tan lines.

WOW! They filed for a filming permit last week and it was instantly issued. I've been waiting 5.5 months for my Rental Permit to be renewed.....RENEWED!!!! Sounds like maybe resources should be shifted around at the Department of Building and Zoning! So where are the lovely sister's staying? When are you going to get the scoop on location? Tell us something we don't know.

So if I show up in my truck, with a 6-pack of PBR and my dog, will they let me in?

Funny. Their store opened and they were no where to be found. Good. Stay away. Oh wait...they are renting a house in North Sea. After numerous brokers refused to work with them the decide to stay in North Sea. Love it. Hide in the woods all summer
By LovedHerTown (132), southampton on Jun 3, 14 5:49 AM
A pox on our neighborhood.

Well, "I" went into their delightful store the other day and bought a TO DIE FOR black and red lace bustier with rhinestone accents and a puce silk thong with K*yn* W.'s scowling face printed on it, and enjoyed a complimentary Jamaican Blue Mountain cappuccino (at least that's what they told me it was.)

On the down side, I WILL be living on ramen for the rest of the summer.

Why so much hate? Can you not appreciate the number of jobs generated by the Kardashian's existence? And Scott D (an honorary Kardashian) is a local boy. They're irritating for sure, but there are far worse people amongst us

Well, Nature, have you given any thought to the source of the Kardashian celebrity, the "event zero" of today's All Kardashian All The Time mania?

Hint: it's not the father's defense of a notorious killer. or the step-father's Olympic success.

It was Andy Warhol who predicted that "In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes." It seems that the majority of us feel that the entire family have out-lived that 15 minutes many times over.

Traditionally, a young ...more

Oh no doubt it's absurd that their fame was launched by her home video - but hey this is America and a lot of people bought that video and/or clicked the links to see it.

Maya Angelou was once an exotic dancer. Is Kim K the next Maya Angelou? Nope, but who cares how she got her fame. Her step-father is an 'American Hero' in his own right.

All the clicks on this article, and the comments and the time spent ruminating and bashing the K-Klan is more money in other people's ...more
By Nature (2966), Hampton Bays on Jun 3, 14 2:23 PM
Maya Angelou was a Calypso dancer and singer, she released one album. That's a little different from an "exotic dancer" Calypso was considered exotic during the 50's but ummmm not in the way that could be assumed by using the term "exotic dancer". Really don't know how you could put Ms. Angelou and Ms. Kardashian west in the same paragraph.

I wonder if the Press might like to do an article on the nice ladies who run our local thrift shop? Their non-profit cause could use a media boost, too.

And is there a rental permit???? Wonder if the town is going to turn their heads because of "who they are."
By SHTownHB (75), Hampton Bays on Jun 3, 14 10:45 PM
If the home is renting for $300,000, you can be pretty sure the real estate agent who is getting the commission would have ensured a rental permit was in place

The problem with the Kardashians is that they are such blatant publicity seekers. They deliberately create a sideshow wherever they go. No one would mind if they wanted to come here and live among us quietly as thousands of other well known visitors do. But, their object is to film a reality show in our village which might become very annoying and disruptive. The Press should be asking, How is Mayor Epley planning on managing paparazzi and celebrity gawking day trippers as the Kardashian publicity ...more
By oystercatcher (126), southampton on Jun 5, 14 1:29 PM
Why is the village allowing a permit for filming? Can someone explain who at village hall is supporting this? Is mayor epley's father in law connected to this as well?

It was a village establishment until the current owner took it over with ugly decor and hep A

Why? Because small minds were titillated with what ever gets 'em going. Sad to think those same people have so much titular power.
By summertime (589), summerfield fl on Jun 7, 14 12:56 PM
Another questionable decision by Emperor Epley, any "compensation" for this one? How about changing the parking on Hampton Rd for Citerella, plastic bags for Citerella, allowing a business to operate on the beach ? All these favors, why?
