Free H1N1 flu vaccination clinic on December 8 at Southampton Hospital

Dec 2, 2009 1:40 PM

Southampton Hospital will hold a free H1N1 flu vaccination clinic on Tuesday, December 8, from 9 a.m. until supplies run out, at Parrish Memorial Hall, on the corner of Lewis Street and Herrick Road in Southampton Village.

Due to limited supply, Southampton Hospital requests that only those who fit the following criteria come for the vaccination: pregnant women, caregivers for children under 6 months old, health care workers, anyone who is between 6 months and 24 years of age, and those with underlying medical conditions who are ages 25 to 64.

Appointments are not necessary, but identification is required.

In addition, Southampton Hospital has temporarily restricted all children under the age of 16 from all inpatient care areas, unless they are patients. The move is a precaution for the flu season.
