Coram Soldier Killed In Afghanistan Honored After Landing At Westhampton Beach Air Base

The body of 31-year-old Air National Guard hero serviceman Sgt. Louis Bonacasa of Coram landed at Gabreski Airport in Westhampton Beach on Thursday morning. He was one of six service members killed in a suicide attack in Afghanistan. He was honored by numerous fire departments lining County Road 31 with flags and standing at attention. His funeral will be held Saturday morning at New Beginnings Christian Center in Coram followed by burial at Calverton National Cemetery. Sgt. God Bless him. God Bless his family. God please comfort them in their hour of need for such loss. Send prayers to strengthen them.

He is a hero. Brave. A pillar of our local community sacrificed to the horrors of the profiteer's never ending wars.
