Crews Grind Mill Road In Westhampton Beach Tuesday As Part Of Repaving Project

Oct 21, 2014 4:39 PM

A Rosemar Construction crew removed the top layer of asphalt from Mill Road in Westhampton Beach on Tuesday, slowing down traffic in the village. Workers milled down the road in preparation for repaving on Wednesday, according to Mayor Maria Moore. Earlier this year, the stretch of Mill Road between Oneck Lane and the traffic circle was identified by the Westhampton Beach Department of Public Works as an area in need of repairs. The project cost $165,640, though the village will be reimbursed through the New York State Consolidated Local Street and Highway Improvement Program. KYLE CAMPBELL PHOTOS
