UPDATE: Police Offer No Leads In Thursday's County Road 39 Fatality

Truly a heartbreaking day yesterday for the family and loved ones of this mans family. It’s infuriating the amount of comments complaining about the traffic when a life was lost! Yes the traffic is an issue and a big problm when a road needs to be shut down for hours for police to investigate but yesterday wasn’t the time for the heartless amount of people bitching and complaining on a public site. This man was horrifically killed and his murderer is still out there. He was just doing his job in the middle of the night likely to avoid the trade parade of traffic every morning. I’m sorry you were inconvenienced, late to your scheduled day, maybe even had to reschedule but was it your family member killed and left in the road? I don’t think so! Have a little compassion and consideration and be happy that it’s not you mourning your loved one from this tragic accident. Today is back to the normal trade parade of traffic for everyone while this mans family is devastated and time has stood still for them for an eternity, not a few hours. Rest peacefully Mr. McAlla " Apr 6, 18 10:20 AM

Blame the coward that so callously killed this man and fled the scene for yesterday’s traffic problems. That’s who’s to blame. I hope this SOB is found and brought to justice for this man and his family, not that it would ease their grieving but at least this monster won’t be allowed to hurt someone else. People need to slow down, obey the speed limit and pay attention and this won’t happen. That’s part of the solution. Even if they created another through road it would be equally as backed up. Don’t travel out east and not expect traffic issues. Period. It’s going to happen. It happens everywhere that there is a bottle neck, not just the east end. " Apr 6, 18 11:43 AM
