Ambulance officials tell Health Department of concerns about Hamptons Rehab Center

I agree, it's very obvious that "intheknow" has some major issues. I wonder, is he a volunteer in our community? Apparently not nor does he realize the numerous hours of on going training, schooling and man hours it takes to be a volunteer member of the Ambulance Corp. and even more so when your an officer or Chief. In addition these volunteers have put time with their own families aside in order to protect and help our community and others. There is no amount of money or the use of a "Frist Responeder Vehicle" that can ever repay these volunteers. They are an "ASSET" to our comunity. I agree with "typical", perhaps intheknow was a "missfit" who attempted to be a member of the ambulance corp. and Chief Phillips had the guts to rid the ambulance corp of this person in order to protect the community. What ever the case may be, "intheknow" is needs to grow up and find another place to steer his energy rather than bad mouth one of the communities most respective, honest, hard working, kind and caring, volunteers. And another thing, what does his job have to do with him volunteering? As eveyone else knows Mr. Phillips gives 200% to both his job as Chief of the S.V.V.A. and his job, something I'm sure you know nothing about or are to ignorant to see." Feb 7, 09 1:35 PM

Man drowns in Bridgehampton pool

Perhaps J.Totta should get her facts straight before she makes a statement like that. Our Police, E.M.S, and Fire Dept. always go above and beyond the call of duty, "when they are called to do so!" But if there is a "delay" in notifying them of an emergency, don't blame them, blame those at fault, the party goers......." Aug 14, 10 6:19 PM

Cops: North Sea Traffic Stop Yields Drugs, Cash, Weapon

And equally proud of our Southampton Town Police Department. Another job well done in helping to keep our streets free of drug dealers. Hat's off to all of our Police Officers and to Chief Billy Wilson.
