Plane Crash At East Hampton Airport On Sunday

Your attitudes and taxes are why I never even considered the northeast for my business. For you who say small planes are too dangerous around houses, please remind me of the last time someone on the ground was killed or injured by a small plane crashing into a house. Typically only the occupants of airplanes are killed when they crash into a building, guys like that Yankees pitcher, or that kid, Charles Bishop, who crashed his plane into the Bank of America building in Tampa. One person outside was killed when that guy deliberately crashed his Cherokee Six, a larger general aviation airplane, which was loaded with fuel, into the IRS building.

You have more to fear from a teenage girl in a Civic with a cell phone than you do a pilot in a light aircraft. Not to mention, that airport has been there since 1940; you fools are the same type of trash that moves in next to a shooting range and then complains about the noise. If you don't like it, move somewhere else. Don't move next to an airport and then complain about the noise from the airplanes. Shutting down that airport will also drive away your wealthiest neighbors who can, unlike those of you who are complaining, afford to leave and take their wealth with them. " Aug 26, 12 11:00 PM

Fair enough. My apologies. I guess I got a little inflamed in regards to a couple of the comments that I read; there was no reason for me to attack with teeth and it was a reflex emotional response. " Aug 27, 12 5:43 PM
