Gregor Proceeding With Noyac Project Despite Official Roadblocks

Mr. Gregor should be fired. Who does he think he is with going forward with a plan not approved by Town officials? Let him wate his resources obtaining bids that will only be rejected by the Town Board. If he allows even on shovel of dirt to be removed, then straight to jail he should go." Apr 15, 13 1:14 PM

Immigration: From Making Their Way To Finding A Path

It's only not realistic as long as we refuse to take action. Illegal means just that, they are breaking the law by being here. Just visit any farm and you will have truclload for deportation. Put them on a one way ticket out of Westhampton air base on a C-130. keep picki9ng them up everyday until you finally clean up the trash.

Stop requring governments and school districts from the responsibility of caring for them and teaching their children and they will turn tail and head back to mexico." Jul 19, 13 3:05 PM

Southampton Town Board Approves CPI And Canal Development Project

They should have torn down CPI and uilt the condos on its footprint. Now valuable land right on the canal will be ruined forever. We needed marinas and restaurants on the canal. Condos should have been on the CPI site a block away from the canal. Thats what the voters get for letting left wing liberals run the town!" Jan 13, 15 10:40 PM

Hampton Bays has always been the poor stepchild, and nothing can chnge that image. They are on the wrong side of the canal!" Jan 13, 15 10:41 PM

Proponents Continue Push For Plastic Bag Ban In Southampton Town

About time we went back to paper bags, after all, we would be adding jobs at paper mills and killing tons more trees!" Feb 3, 15 12:00 PM

This is the kind of crap that happens whenever you elect liberal tree huggers. When did Southampton become so wimpy and cater to those who have invaded our town over the past decades?" Feb 3, 15 12:05 PM

Southampton Students Debate A Sons Of Italy Member About Columbus Day

The problem today is how the liberals have managed to change the history books over the past thirty years. The most liberal profession is teaching, which is brainwashing students. The native americans were not innocent in all of this either. " Mar 4, 15 4:53 PM

UPDATE: Wednesday Afternoon Crash On County Road 39 Caused By Driver Who Fell Asleep

Anyone against the supermarket is obviously a resident of Southampton village who do not want it in their backyard. Guess what , you villagers take care of business within your jurisdiction. Its obvious you are anti-business, look at the history of supermarket chains within your district!" Mar 4, 15 5:25 PM

Southampton Village Residents Not Sold On Development Aspect Of Proposed Sewer District

the llast thing the village business district needs is more development, especially at a cost to all village taxpayers who will receive no benefit. if the village leaders want to do the right thing, they can just address the polluters of Agawam lake instead of wrapping that into a much larger budget problem by including significant sewar upgrades to businessmen at the cost of higher taxes for non-business owners, if business owners benefit then let them bear the entire cost of upgrades." Jan 3, 16 8:06 PM

once you let in the holly wood phonies and wall street hedge fund thieves, now you are surprised that all their money and influence is changing the character of your village. your elected officials have been guns for hire for decades. Southampton is not the Southampton I grew up in and loved. bring back the rogers memorial library and art museum. you let the uber rich and developers change your town into their town." Alec Baldwin Will Push Pine Barrens Commission To Review 'The Hills'

Over the past four decades, affluent people like Mr. Baldwin moved to the east end, built mega mansions which have lush lawns, and use far more water irrigating those lawns than the average household. Together those with mega acre plush green lawns have contributed far more to problems with the water supply than one golf course. How about installing water meters on these huge homes which cut off their supply once they reach the average water user!

Suffolk County should mind its own business. If the town approves the plan, then the people should peacefully protest in front of golf course during season.

Proposal For Public Pool In Southampton Town Gains Support

Why is a town with mile of oceanfront and bayfront public access even considering wasting scarce taxpayer resources on a town swimming pool? " Nov 26, 16 7:29 PM

Sag Harbor Man Stands With Protesters At Standing Rock, Offering Medical Aid

Respect? Liberals have no respect except for those who share their viewpoints, there is no margin for dissenting opinions. Young people want to give meaning to their lives so they volunteer for social causes. They are too young to know what they believe in. As one of the veterans for the pipeline, I commend this young man for making a stand. We will see how he feels when he is in his thirties and has to support his own family. Please stop using the term "veterans" to denote they support the opposition, a group of 200 veterans can hardly show how millions feel. " Dec 27, 16 11:47 AM

New York State Universal Health Care Bill Unlikely To Gain Support Needed Now, But Could In Future

Single Payer is what all liberals want, another welfare program. Health care is not a right under the constitution. Health care is a privilege. Taxpayers should note be forced to subsidize or pay for any one but their own insurance. The answer is to offer many levels of health insurance, the more coverage the higher the premiums. Just like any other commodity, you can choose what you can pay for. Only legal immigrants should be offered healthcare. Maybe if we stopped offering all the benefits we do to immigrants, illegal immigrants would go elsewhere. " Jun 27, 17 12:20 AM

Southampton Town Police Chief Worries About Growing Presence Of MS-13 Gang

LIberals have ruined this country and the east end. The Hamptons used to be a great place, now it is filled with liberal scum who took over and implore their socialist values on everyone. Damn ashamed to say I came from Southampton!" Aug 9, 17 12:19 PM

DACA Recipients Fear For Their Futures

There goes the liberal label of being a racist any time you disagree with them! Our premise for deporting illegal immigrants is not based on race, it is based on them breaking our immigration laws. It doesn't matter if an ILLEGAL is white, black, Mexican or European. The majority of illegals happen to be from Mexico, Central American, and South American countries because of our porous border with Mexico and the prior administration's refusal to enforce current laws. You liberals use the RACIST label so much that it no longer has any meaning. How about coming up with an intelligent rebuttal instead of an incorrect label." Sep 22, 17 8:59 AM

Yes. They are ILLEGAL. No exceptions. I'm sure their countries of origin could use those talents. If they want back in then get on line.

Former Employee Challenging Gregor In Southampton Town Highway Department Race

It appears most people are unhappy with job Mr. Gregor has done. Mr. Aldrich is home grown and knows the area well. He has 30 years experience with that department. It seems that Mr Aldrich is more interested with helping the taxpayer than Mr. Gregor who thinks he is King and only deals with the elite. I went to high school with Mr. Aldrich and from what people are saying about him now are hoe he has always been, a caring and competent individual. If you are unhappy with the way roads are maintained then it is time for a change!" Oct 29, 17 12:04 PM

Southampton Town Hall Could Be Next 'Green Zone' On East Coast

Doesn't anyone realize the liberals lost their bid to socialize this country. Why are we still listening to a minority on how to run our lives? Things were never this ridiculous until all the progressive outsiders moved here and have been successful in taking over. Time to retake our town. If you don't like how we live, don't live here! Zeldin Met With Pence On Tuesday To Discuss Tax Reform Bill

Don't blame the federal government if your SALT taxes are too high, blame you state and local governments. Why should all federal taxpayers subsidize your SALT taxes when it is your state who chooses to play loose with your tax money. The good thing about no SALT deduction is it should put pressure on SAL governments to finally cut back on the cadillac of benefits in states like New York and California if they themselves must pay for them. Have a problem with taxes too high, vote Mr. Cuomo, Mr. Schumer and the rest of the liberals out of office because progressives are noting but socialists who want to take the working class money to give to the non-working class. The biggest cut that would have been fair and saved the most money was going back to the days when you could not receive a tax refund only up to the amount you had withheld in taxes. By putting all these credits like head of household and allowing refunds to be greater allows non taxpayers to get rich off of the working class. The government has turned the tax programs into welfare programs. " Nov 9, 17 5:09 PM

Board Honors Outgoing Southampton Town Councilman Stan Glinka

What is so special about serving a 4 year term? I would expect a 20 or 30 year term to earn such a proclamation. Evidently Mr. Glinka earned his recognition based on decades of previous accomplishments and friendships rather than what he accomplished in a 4 year period on the board." Jan 2, 18 10:14 PM
