Southampton Town Supervisor Anna Throne-Holst Delivers State Of The Town Address

If you have resorted to attempting to correct a obvious dig at HHS language, you need to get a life. Why dont you go find some squirrels in the back yard, they may be more interested in hearing anything you have to say. HHS is a bigboy, and quite honestly you have nothing to contribute to this thread. I have clearly pointed out that you are a liar, all officers are NOT members of the PBA. You are ignorant, a member of the board DOES remain on active duty, and you are merely a lapdog to HHS. Crawl back into your pipe line you sorry little troll, the world is alot safer for you there. " Apr 9, 11 8:12 AM

My apologies.....you have become a full fledge jackass with your posting below....congrats!!!" Apr 9, 11 8:58 AM

Why dont we address this....since this is now a grammar thread...(Parenthetically, Thanks, david h.) is it proper to use the word parenthetically, which means an expression in parenthesis when used as a noun, or adjective when qualifying? Lets here your unwity borish response Mr. Z, then you may return to your moderation flip flop pipe line." Apr 9, 11 9:07 AM

Ok.....I get frustrated then realize I am dealing with someone I shoud actually feel pity for, how many times did you actually have to attend 3rd grade? I will try to bring you up to speed. All officers are members of the pba, your example was that of the capt., who is not a member of the pba as pointed out in my post. I found it comical that you would attempt to correct my grammar, yet not touch HHS, but then you are nothing but a tagalong. HH put parenthetical in paranthesis.......back to the pipeline lapdog" Apr 9, 11 1:40 PM

My tart demeanor had nothing to do with you until you pushed your way in. "He meant officers not the board, where exactly, are you missing from?" So....if you are looking at who threw the first jab between us....look in the mirror instead of trying to be the innocent victim. Your explanation of ignorance goes no where with me. If you are going to speak, speak truthfully, research, and maybe you will one day have some respectability. " Apr 9, 11 4:04 PM

Glad to see your still happily a ignorant little lapdog." Apr 9, 11 4:40 PM

Oooops, this was meant for mr.z, but I guess you showed us what you consider yourself." Apr 9, 11 11:55 PM

I feel this thread has run its course, so let's look at some of the facts....you stated officers reach top pay after 5 years......wrong. You state all board members are not active duty.......wrong again. You state/use the capt. Salary as justification of you stance on the over paid pba........wong again. You state/claim you are not ignorant because one of your jobs is too flip flop data in a pipe line.....see above. All information was found on this website with a little research, but some just like to sound like they know what they are talking about. I give HHS credit for acknowledging his ignorance and actually doing his homework. Next time let HHS fight his own fight, you have demonstrated and exemplified a troll" Apr 10, 11 11:55 AM

well, just had a cup of coffee and figured, "aw, what the hey"
1. My bad
2. I would like a grammar check on this one.
3. and this one too. parenthetically you seem to have a attachment to commas.
4. I did NOT attempt (parnethetically I'll forgive the spelling error) to hack you to shreds.....I, in fact, RIPPED you to shreds.
5. If you would like to continue, I have other errors that you have stated, and would be more than happy to continue ripping you to shreds.
Et finale, I think we know now who in fact is missing from the village, but it has been enjoyable to hear how you flip flop like data in pipe lines, and now how you roll your mouse.

End of THE line......I think this is what you meant to type. CHEERS!" Apr 11, 11 8:31 AM

There are NINETEEN STPD officers still on the....etc, etc. So. Shall we get rid of the twenty year officers? Here we go again, hopefully Mr. Z has learned his lesson and realized he should sit this out, or risk getting his feelings hurt again. HHS, I will now be refering to you as "Wild Bill Kabot"...There are only two people in this town who could carry such a long, unworthy grudge as far as you have, and using "Wild Bill Kabot" combines the two. I like it. It is witty, and very appropriate. I think you are more of the ill tempered Bill Jones, than the happy party girl Linda Kabot, but lets be safe and combine the two. What do you say "Wild Bill Kabot"? Look closely at the budget I directed you too (you know the one, you were ignorant remember?) Look at the years area. Now tell us.....will retiring these officers cause a gaping hole? Think "Wild Bill Kabot", think. I await your overly worded response, and do not hesitae to say what you want wether you can PROVE it or not, it never stopped you before. " Apr 11, 11 8:44 AM

To "Wild Bill Kabot":

Wow.......3.7 Million bucks!!! Just for knocking off the ENTIRE top half of the PD....Captain, LT's and sergeants. Amazing. Of course you have to promote 19 patrolman, then pay them what you were paying the ENTIRE top half of the PD you just let go. Yo really got the ignorant and stupidity market covered. More smoke and mirrors "Wild Bill" smoke and mirrors." Apr 11, 11 6:05 PM

You can copy and paste, too? BoBo the circus monkey better watch his job, your closing in." Apr 12, 11 8:29 AM

LongervIty pay increases are extraordinarily generous because no cops were supposed to be on the payroll beyond twenty years. When you make ignorant statements due to sloppy research, the gravitas of your opinion is degraded (appropriately.)You really must pay more attention to the details.
~ Wild Bill HHS

Chief........................ 43.0 years......Longevity payment=$5,304.00
Police Officer 6.........21.2 years......Longevity payment=$4,500.00
Police Officer 6...........5.3 years......Longevity payment+$3,200.00
~Myself

The PBA obscured that concept and replaced it with the proposition that cops should received EXORBITANT LONGEVITY PAY INCREASE "just because" even if they served for thirty or forty year. The concept is irrational; it's nonsensical; and literally laughable since it is insuperable.
~Wild Bill HHS
Where is the EXORBITANT LONGEVITY PAY INCREASE? (smoke and mirrors)

The only thing laughable is your dramatic language contrary to the truth. The chief with 43 years makes $2104 more than a rookie with 5 years. Again, I am stating you are a LIAR.

Your plan would retire 3 detectives, 6 PO's, and 10 Sergeants. There are 13 Sergeants listed making the loss of 77% in that postion to be filled by patrolmen. A loss of 77% is a gaping hole, of your course you will be filling it, but time is needed to bring the replacements up to speed. Overtime will go through the roof as you wait for your new recruits to graduate, become trained, and adjust. Savings will be minimal comparatively speaking to the loss of experience, and of course the pending lawsuit challenging a law that only two police departments in the state have. Again I am stating you are IGNORANT.

Its FACTOTUMS, and Anthony HOPE would be mortified. That was just STUPID on your part.

They perform no functions that would validate their $150K salaries.

Officers XXXXXX XXXXXX, 40, of Speonk, and XXXX XXXXX, 39, of Hampton Bays who rescued a man after he crashed his vehicle into a tree in East Quogue in May. Officers XXXXX and XXXX pulled the man from his van and extinguished a fire that was smoldering under the vehicle,

Officer XXXXXX prevented a man from committing suicide in Flanders after he noticed a car parked on the side of a road while on patrol one night

Northampton Man Charged With Assaulting Police Officer Over Can Of Malt Liquor.

Riverside Man Dies Hours After Being Shot Outside Hampton Bays Nightclub.

Our sleepy little town......you blissful IGNORANCE.

Take a trip back in time Wild Bill......

You are missing THE important point. Each police officer, when he first signs on, agrees to a contract stipulating that after twenty years, he will retire.* (this statement has been shown as false. there is no contract signing)

The brouhaha at the August 26, 2008 Town Council Meeting, where cops appeared en mass in uniform, occurred because Linda Kabot dared to suggest that six of the supra-contractual cops should be retired. The Chief had recommended these six for retirement of all the cops who have worked beyond the twenty year maximum. Since it is the ...more chief who decides who stays on beyond twenty years, one can assume that he thought that theses six, while initially worthy or continued employment, no longer merited the exception.

The high salaries of cops, per se, is not in issue.

Oopsy, made a slight error, should have had my glasses on. Your plan would retire 3 Det., 6 PO's, 7 sgt's and all 3 LT's. 77% of management is what I was referring to, the rest still applies....especially the you are ignorant part." Apr 12, 11 10:42 AM

Southampton Town Board Appoints Wilson As Police Chief

HELLO? Where is highatsize? there is a conspiracy theory here that he needs to use big words to explain. And if we're lucky, mr. Z will chime in too. Maybe its as simple as wilson interviewed the best, congrats, and move on.

I think Bama-Slama was pretty spot on, you on the other hand spend so much time concerned about what Turkeybridge is doing, you would think the stalking laws would apply. YOU are what is wrong with the republican party. YOU are a hypocrit who make statements of rumor as fact. YOU need to get away from the bar stool at majic's. Do not for a second think we are fooled by your nonsense. Your a disgrace to the republican party, and you need medical assistance with you anger issues. You have my pity, now have another one and go to your sisters house. " Apr 30, 11 7:58 PM

UPDATE: Peaceful Black Lives Matter Rally Held In Westhampton Beach

Two things I've taken out of this....
1. SH you are incorrect. The piggy chant has been used numerous times, being adamant about something doesn't make it true.
2. Unless you have done due diligence on the movement you should not argue one way or the other. I have read the demands listed on demands.org and because of them it's fairly safe to say BLM is not a legitimate movement about equal treatment.
You can't argue BLM is not a racist movement if you choose not to do some research on what the organization stands for, and what it stands for isn't all that pretty." Aug 25, 16 3:54 PM

Local Businesses Close For A Day, Join Nationwide 'Day Without Immigrants' Protest

And then what? Overwhelm our already overburdened welfare system? You have been the one poster on here that cherry picks facts. The majority of illegals in the US have less than a 10th grade education, and would be entitled to seek welfare benefits. Sure illegals contribute to the tax base when they have no choice, but they suck 11.4 billion from the tax base in school, health, insurance, and housing. Illegals are historically larger families and as such put the burden on law abiding Americans. What we should do is allow citizens such as yourself contribute whatever it costs for these criminals to continue to stay. Take the burden off of me. I would like to see all illegals given a 6 month opportunity to register in the US, get finger printed and identified. Issued an illegal resident status card that allows them to remain here as long as they do not commit any crimes above a violation. And pay a tax rate higher than I do as their penalty and fee to remain here. Don't like it, stop by SH Res house and take him with you, just another BLM/illegal give it all away liberal we can do without." Feb 17, 17 11:45 PM

I came at you harshly because you use the same argument as you did in the BLM thread, that everyone else is ignorant, when you don't even take the time to educate yourself. Did you ever get around to reading the list of demands? That's not to get off point, it's to get you to see you need to take the time before throwing ignorance into the equation. Deportation is "false news" severe penalties and a "pay to stay" is the answer. Then if they get stopped for any reason and found to be non compliant, it's a school bus ride to a big beautiful wall. I do admit I made a mistake and used old data in my post, it's 85 billion according to the heritage foundation which takes the immigrant AND the child now born in the USA into the equation of tax burden. And to answer your question, I did not vote for Trump, would have been pointless in this Clinton loving state. I wrote in a candidate I felt was the best person suited. " Feb 18, 17 10:31 AM

Hard to take a movement seriously when it's predicated on lies. Answer these simple questions.
1. Did the officers involved go out looking for trouble, or were they responding to a citizens complaint of criminal activity?
2. Would the outcome in all cases be different if the suspect did as was lawfully directed?
Two simple answers debunk the entire movement and could have saved those men's lives, and spared the assassination of all innocent cop's since. They were not choir boys, or innocent bystanders. I would 100% agree with that. They were predators. "Hand up don't shoot" never happened, fact. "Piggies in a blanket fry'em like bacon" was used at multiple protests.
I used "false news" as a jab ar POTUS." Feb 19, 17 9:00 AM

Give me 1 reason listed on the official website. Here is the platform...

Black humanity and dignity requires black political will and power. In response to the sustained and increasingly visible violence against Black communities in the U.S. and globally, a collective of more than 50 organizations representing thousands of Black people from across the country have come together with renewed energy and purpose to articulate a common vision and agenda. We are a collective that centers and is rooted in Black communities, but we recognize we have a shared struggle with all oppressed people; collective liberation will be a product of all of our work.

Who exactly is the visible violence against black communities? Are you saying it's the Police? Politicians? Middle class America? Let me hear it from you. Who commits the majority of crimes against the black community? And who exactly is BLM blaming all this on?
Do you believe reperations are due? That not enough money is invested into education of minority communities? What about affirmative action, for years it made it harder to be white. What more should we do? The demands wants free college education, who pays for that? So tell me, what part of the BLM movement is it you support? Point to a section on the official website so I can see it.
To bring these two back to topic.
America was founded on the backs of immigrants who wanted to be Americans. Not African Americans, Latin Americans, Irish Americans. This new wave of disrespect for what we are as a nation is sure to further the demise of the US as a nation. Hence Donald Trump. You can hold to your culture, but it now takes a seat behind what the blood of our forefathers fought for, one nation, under God. Put your mexican flags away, embrace and assimilate by learning the language, and thank God you're in the greatest country in the world." Feb 20, 17 12:06 AM

Our team grew through a very successful Black Lives Matter ride, led and designed by Patrisse Cullors and Darnell L. Moore, organized to support the movement that is growing in St. Louis, MO, after 18-year old Mike Brown was killed at the hands of Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson.

Mike Brown was an 18 year old thug. Mike Brown robbed a convince store with another thug Dorian Johnson. Dorian Johnson is a lying thug who should be held accountable in the assassination of innocent police officers in Dallas, New York, Baton Rouge, and Kentucky. How fortunate for a movement to find its alter boy in Mike Brown and Dorian Johnson.

Over 40 FBI agents investigated the shooting that "grew from a very successful Black Lives Matter ride" making Mike Brown an innocent unarmed black male and the face of the movement. They found nothing wrong in the shooting.

"What DOJ found made me ill. Wilson knew about the theft of the cigarillos from the convenience store and had a description of the suspects. Brown fought with the officer and tried to take his gun. And the popular hands-up storyline, which isn’t corroborated by ballistic and DNA evidence and multiple witness statements, was perpetuated by Witness 101. In fact, just about everything said to the media by Witness 101, whom we all know as Dorian Johnson, the friend with Brown that day, was not supported by the evidence and other witness statements."

Washington post 3/16/15 Jonathan Capehart

And you never answered, how different would things be today if everyone, black, white, hispanic, did what was asked by the cop?

Your condescending tone is noted, I am well aware of the difference between mexican American and Latin American. Mexican American does not encompass all illegals in their eyes as if you would ask an el Salvadoran how he felt about Mexicans, they consider themselves very much different. Something tells me you and I have very different experiences in life. I purposely did not use mexican American. But thanks for the education. How's the view from your high horse?" Feb 21, 17 12:06 AM

"Whiteness is a priviledge"

Are you really that lost? Have you ever opened a history book? My "White Priveledge" came at a cost you just wouldn't understand up there in high castle. Why dont you take some time and consider racism isnt black and white, or maybe in your narrow mind it really is. Institutionalized racism, if you're really interested in seeing it end, has to start with BLM taking a cold hard look at what they think is racism and what is the result of individuals not doing what they are supposed to.

I don't see color, I see character. A black man in a police uniform earns more respect with me than a white man. A black man dressed like a gangbanger gets very little wether he is or not, he is still portraying himself to be. Place a white man in that very same gangbanger outfit I feel the exact same way.

Do you think Darren Wilson acted the way he did that day because he was racist?" Feb 21, 17 7:46 AM

"You've said you don't see color, but with all due respect that's absurd."

All due respect, you are the ignorant one assuming that my "subconscious mind" perceives the color of skin. I can tell you 100% right now I don't see color I see character. I've given you examples, asked you questions, made arguments for my stance. You have dodged all the while, not answering the most pressing questions. Typical for someone who deflects, denies, and cast blame. Your arrogance is second only to highat and mr.z. (only because one is so enamored with the other they seem to be one) I do not care what studies you may have read, do not speak of how I see a human being. That is speaking from the high horse you "subconsciously" don realize you are riding. Something you seem proficient at.

I will never apologize or feel the slightest inkling of remorse for what you think is my so called "White Priveledge". My "White Priveledge" is written in stone by those who came before me. I will not apologize for what they earned, and for what I proudly carry and pass to my children. It is earned by sacrifice in the belief that we are ONE nation. Not a nation of Mexican americans, African americans, Irish americans. Key word is earned. Through sacrifice. If that's "White Priveledge" I will wear it every day.

This road has been traveled before, you choose to see difference in people, I choose to see what is the same. I ask for honesty, not blame or excuse. I ask for respect, respect across all races. I ask that before you march and demand justice without truth, you wait, and allow justice to proceed unhindered and uninfluenced by the amount of violence that can be brought against it to make justice a whore.

Forcing upon a free nations people the burden of those who seek to bypass the nation's law undermines the free nation. There probably is a reason why you see so many comments that are contrary to yours. I'll leave you with this, the answer.

"And, insomuch as we know that, by His divine law, nations like individuals are subjected to punishments and chastisement in this world, may we not justly fear that the awful calamity of civil war, which now desolates the land, may be but a punishment inflicted upon us for our presumptuous sins to the needful end of our national reformation as a whole people?

We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven. We have been preserved these many years in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth and power as no other nation has ever grown.

But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious Hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own."

Southampton Town Leaders Accuse Zeldin Of Making 'Misleading' Comments About Hampton Bays During White House Visit

@hhs

Typical response. You never add anything to disprove someone, just say it isn't so. Ever wonder why the majority of posters don't agree with you? You have a serious case of "is it me? Or is it everybody else?" It's you.

Facc: Obama care is an epic failure and the American people were lied to.

Fact: Obama negotiated with terrorists, released terrorists, and said terrorists returned to the battlefield to fight American men and women.
.br/>F ct: Many Americans lost their physicians because of Obama

Fact: Obama was an economic failure leading the slowest recovery since the 30's

Fact: Obama left office increasing those Americans on food stamps by 1/3 of what it was before he took office.

Fact: Reagan's failure (according to YOU) lead to an increase of household income of 8.1% to Obamss stupendous 5.3% (the actual truth)

eact: Reagan's failure (according to YOU) had a median jobless rate of 7.2% to Otama and his 7.7%. Also worth noting is MORE Americans chose not to work during the Obama presidency.

Fact: Reagan's failure ( according to YOU) added 17.7% nonfarm jobs gained during his presidency compared to Obama's 8.7%.

Fact: “We’re going to work with your employers to lower your premiums by up to $2,500 per family, per year" campaign promise by Obama....it was a lie.

Fact: Obama promised in his 2010 State of the Union address to “double our exports over the next five years.” That didn’t happen.

So....there you have it, plenty of facts all with the same conclusion. You have no idea what your talking about. You like big words but they definitely in your case do not make you smarter.

THAT is what you take away from my post...the fact that You, June bug, Z, and hhs "like" each other's comments? That's funny, but not surprising considering when faced with facts that's all you can muster. Keep "like"ing away....I prefer to base my statement on the responses from other posters. " Mar 13, 18 4:31 PM

Similarly both had Democrats in office, duh.

I listed my sources, I did my research, it's not up to me to try to prove my points any further. I cant understand how it must feel to post such an asinine statement about "like"s after a well researched post, and to STILL try to validate the original asinine post with a childish addendum of who "like"s and who doesn't. Really?

The quotations around facts is incorrect, you can verify everything I wrote with official US sources. Unless you know better than the US, i mean you were born somewhere other than here, correct?

You have a case of the "down nosey" same as hhs, z. You spend too much time looking down your nose at the world, but it does explain alot. The air is thin when your up so high, you can't think intelligently." Mar 14, 18 9:55 AM

See above, you must be smarter than my listed sources also.

Ever realize you use the same response....prejudicial, misleading, false, irrelovent...but you never say how. I absolutely love how these "down nosey's" react when faced with empirical fact, let's recap the responses...

"Pew"
June bug
BTW...june bug....Cotinis nitida, commonly known as the green June beetle, June bug or June beetle, is a beetle of the family Scarabaeidae. One of the most troublesome bugs – at least for a few weeks each summer – is the so-called June bug. These large and clumsy beetles are attracted to nighttime light, so they can be a pest to any outdoor evening activity you have planned.
Fitting.

"Or perhaps it was just Joe Pesci..."
Z
Historically on this site when stumped z reverts to irrelevance and follows with rapid responses, all equally irrelevant. I rest my case.

Not one left wing Hillary lover will dispute any FACTS my right wing standard bearer Jimmy has posted? "Pew" is all you got? That self serving egomaniac HRC should gather a more indignant response from the absent minded.

I'd like to see one of you mad dog lefty standard bearers refute any of those FACTS in Jimmy MacDoogan's 3/17/18 12:32 post.

Obama was an 8 year failure. FACT.
Prove it otherwise.
" Mar 18, 18 12:31 AM

Yeah, uh, what red ink are you referring to...or is this another semi-Empirical fact that may or may not be empirical depending on which end your looking at it. My end happens to have glasses, pretty sure yours is covered and your sitting on it.

And again, that is how you try to refute the FACTS? I give Fore props, at least he tried." Mar 18, 18 12:31 PM

LOL....of course it is the mass murderers fault, he did the murdering, no? Who should take the blame for his murdering ways? The poor schlep who lives around the corner from him?

Some of the most infamous mass murders were carried out without a gun, that's a poor argument for gun laws, even tho I do support stronger laws. Also, guns don't just walk around shooting things, there is an individual with a culpable mental state behind the trigger. THAT needs to be addressed.

You thought wrong. God KNOWS everything that is going to happen, but does not control what happens. God created us in His own image and gave us free will in the hopes that we would follow His teaching and direction. We failed God, not the other way around. If His people followed His laws, genocide, famine, wars, mass murder, hate, etc. would not be a problem. Those are the creation of man.

I praise God in my best days, and I praise God in my darkest.

I will keep my God thank you, and pray more people will find Him so peace becomes a possibility." Mar 19, 18 12:32 AM

"Belief in a "God" is the single greatest cause of death and war in human history."
So believing in God causes death? I believe in God, yet, I am not yet dead. I am actually more concerned about cancer and the zombie apocalypse than my belief killing me. Or did you mean death in war? Or maybe just ashes to ashes? What an absolutely imbecilic comment, even for you, no, wait, I take that back. "Belief in a "God" is the single greatest cause of death and war in human history." it must be an empirical fact since you know everything from day 1 of human history, recorded or otherwise you are Johnny on the spot.

I am not a 'fabled' Christian, I am a card carrying member. And as a card carrying member I direct your attention to a little thing in my Good Book detailing the Sermon on the Mount. Feel free to copy and paste.

I admit, it is not very Christian like of me to keep embarrassing you like this, but again, that comes down to free will. I am choosing to embarrass you. I just have to pray for forgiveness when I am done.

Site your source z, explain your 'red ink' comment z, or prove once and for all your sitting on the most intelligent part of your existence.

I'm going to come back at you with other sources, so to make it fair in this lopsided debate on where God is culpable in all that man does wrong, I will give you a hint at what lies in store, Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot. The sum of all your posts lead right to the same conclusion. " Mar 20, 18 1:22 AM

@hhs

Twaddle

I am not Catholic, I am Christian. z called me out for being Christian, pay attention. Also, z brought the topic to St. Augustine. I merely directed his attention to how the theory of 'Just War" is applicable, and in fact, needed. I do appreciate you contributing, you clearly lay out your argument, and the source. Bravo. It is more than z has ever done.

@z

Must be nice to have someone in hhs who has more than "Note how he conveniently ignored history dating back to Mesopotamia" to contribute. You still have yet to name a single source for "Belief in a "God" is the single greatest cause of death and war in human history.".

Now you bring in slavery, you just keep swinging and missing don't you. Can you cite one instance where Jesus tells any Disciple it is ok to own slaves. You know nothing about Christianity if you keep pulling Old Testament Scripture into debasing Christian belief. It actually shows great ignorance.

Cite your source for "Belief in a "God" is the single greatest cause of death and war in human history."

Ironic how you quickly attack me for my religious belief, show no basis for it, and look for others to help you. You, who is so well respected, personally attacking someone. But I've learned when there is nothing else, small people do ignorant things.

And now I have de-evolved to your level, and earned some red ink.

"Belief in a "God" is the single greatest cause of death and war in human history."

Your imbecilic false statement has nothing to do with whether God exists or not, just the belief. Answer the simple question. Cite your sources.( I'll give you a hint, you seem to be dumfound.....you do not have a single source and are just trying to get away from stating it )

As I have stated for quite some time:
"Prove your God exists".

AND, prove you have asked at any other time prior to this date your second imbecilic false statement.

Before further imbecilic statements I suggest you read the Good Book to understand the correlation between Old and New. Start with Sermon on the Mount.

LMAO!!" Mar 23, 18 9:19 AM

Ahem....

The crux of the matter is that you continually make imbecilic mind numbing false statements and spend days trying to squirrel your way out of them. You have as much credibility now, here on this blog, as you feel The Don has in the WH.

How about this, I will pose 2 questions to you and you answer it....

WHAT IS THE LEADING CAUSE OF DEATH IN HUMAN HISTORY?

Just Google it....here is the next....

WHAT IS THE LEADING CAUSE OF WAR IN HUMAN HISTORY?

You are a Google employee, you know what to do.

NOW...does it add up to your statement
"Belief in a "God" is the single greatest cause of death and war in human history."
You know^^^^^This one.

This statement that you doubled down on by copying and pasting from the "Good Book", then deflected to the Crusades, to which i answered, then to St. Augustine, to which I answered, to the Midanites, to which I answered, to slavery, to which I answered, to mankind dating back to Mesopotamia, to which I answered....and you will not answer one question. (Actually now it's two ), you've had your komrades come to your aid, and still, STILL, a simple question goes unanswered.

"Belief in a "God" is the single greatest cause of death and war in human history."

You stand in indignant condemnation on a imbecilic fraudulent statement ( Actually two now ) Maybe, just maybe, you should take your own advice. The true measure of a man is to admit he has been diagnosed with with pseudologia fantastica and mythomania, has no real idea the meaning of Empirical Fact, and to...

"Get over yourselves, for the benefit of not only the planet, but the Universe."

I have nothing to get over, YOU on the other hand....tsk, tsk, tsk.

Further imbecilic statements.

The words "Almighty", "God", or "Jesus" would have no place in the constitution of a nation trying to identify itself as led by the people, not by a divine power as England did. " Mar 26, 18 1:36 PM

Oh yeah....I'll take this one.

The truth is that the greatest enemies to the doctrines of Jesus are those calling themselves the expositors of them, who have perverted them for the structure of a system of fancy absolutely incomprehensible, and without any foundation in his genuine words. And the day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the supreme being as his father in the womb of a virgin will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter. But we may hope that the dawn of reason and freedom of thought in these United States will do away with all this artificial scaffolding, and restore to us the primitive and genuine doctrines of this the most venerated reformer of human errors.

So much for your quotation of Calvin's `mon dieu! jusqu'a quand' in which, when addressed to the God of Jesus, and our God, I join you cordially, and await his time and will with more readiness than reluctance. May we meet there again, in Congress, with our antient Colleagues, and recieve with them the seal of approbation `Well done, good and faithful servants.'.....

If the basis of your argument isn't true, your argument is a bald-faced lie.

"Budget Advisory Committee member Rick Sobrevinas blamed steep raises for administrators—some as high as 57 percent over a three-year period—for contributing to the town’s current financial meltdown.

The highway superintendent’s salary rose 42 percent between 2005 and 2008, from $72,000 to $102,000. Meanwhile, the salary of an affirmative action officer rose 50 percent in two years, from $40,000 in 2006 to $60,000 in 2008. And a senior citizen program supervisor got a salary hike of 37 percent, from $46,000 in 2005 to $63,000 in 2008.

Over the past four years, Mr. Sobrevinas said spending on administrators grew from $2.2 million in 2005 to $3.4 million in 2008. Meanwhile, spending on administrative assistants rose from $2.5 million to $4.3 million over the same period.

“This is criminal,” Mr. Sobrevinas said. “The 24-percent raises, 54-percent raises, are just incredible. It’s just a rape ... Not even in the private sector do they have raises like that.”

Ms. Kabot defended the payroll spending. “[Employees] were worth it. I’m not going to quibble about it now,” she said. “What we can’t afford now are raises.”

HHS, I don't think that many people see the collateral damage that goes with an alcohol offense these days. The penalties have become so Draconian they are reminiscent of the Rockefeller drug laws.

When it comes to punishment, what is enough? People make mistakes. We're all human. But losing your privilege, or your car is one thing. But your career, a home, even a marriage? What is a sufficient price to be paid? How much in the fiscal category retroactively over the years in lawyer fees, lost pay, or insurance premiums? How much financially over time is enough? 5k, 10k, 20 thousand dollars? Take a hard look out there, and tell me we have a "fair system".

FULL UNEDITED QUOTE:

Hello. What "current labor grievances" does the PBA HAVE with the Town? And if these phenomena have progressed to the stage of "grievances", HOW will being "proactive" "resolve" them more efficiently and without the use of lawyers? Maybe at her NEXT state of the Town meeting in July, ATH can tell us what she is talking about.

Assuming that "labor grievance", is politico-speak for, "We want more money" (the perpetual STPD "grievance"), a translation of her speech would be, "The STPD PBA has agreed to notify us further in advance how much more money they want the next year so that we can discuss it even more before it ends up in arbitration."

Besides telling us what she is talking about here, perhaps she could also tell us HOW MUCH MORE we are paying these folks over the $130/K base pay apiece that we were paying them two years ago (the last time that base pay figures were publicly available [under Supervisor Kabot's tenure]).

The STPD is, by far, the biggest drain on the public purse and we know virtually nothing about it. Remember the $$5M that was missing in the "police fund" when a competent accountant examined the books? What-all happened to that money? Was it used, perhaps, for STPD overtime? If so, how much? Which brings me back to my initial question, "Just how much are we paying these guys?"

I hope that ATH provided copies of her speech to the Press so that they weren't actually compelled to attend the meeting.

FAKE NEWS ALERT

1. Find the word Benfits.
2. Define BASE PAY
3. Look at a town budget, is BASE PAY a stand alone category?
4. Using your fuzzy math method, we are paying our other town employees North of $160,000.00 for a M-F, 9-5.

And , well, if the Town would handle it's problems professionally, we would see no Kiernan/Costa lawsuits. You childish catching bag guys argument shows a complete ignorance in all things surrounding law enforcement. Square mile to officer ratio, figure it out.

"Parenthetically, that increase in base salary since 2011 is 160%[!!] of the inflation rate. [Gee, how did THAT happen!?]"

I can tell you!!!

You can THANK Mr. B. Obama.

Taken directly from the budgets:
In 2010 Mr. Obama touted his fine affordable health care act. Here are the ACTUAL SALARIES paid to PD personnel.

2009...8.9 mil.
2010...9.3 mil
2011...9.7 mil
2012...9.2 mil
2013...9.7 mil
2014...10.2 mil
2015...10.7 mil
2016...11 mil

NOW GET THIS, HERE IS THE INCREASE IN HEALTH INSURANCE THANKS TO B.O

2011...8.96%
2012...5.24%
2013...14.76%
2014...6.24%
2015...2.41%
2016...12.3%
2017...11.8%
2018...11.43%

That is the AFFORDABLE care act of 2010.

I will supply you with the website, seeing as not only are no math wizard, you are investigativly weak.....

It really does get boring going back and forth with ignorance.

2. "[4) "Benefits"? Why THAR they are, Jimmy - - - in a post by Bayman3142 ( Apr 7, 18 10:03 AM). The REASON that I include benefits in calculating compensation is because the point of the discussion was, "How much are these cops costing us?", not simply, "How much are we paying them?"]"

Here is an example of FAKE NEWS being used to squirm the reporter out of a lie.

The budget (to which "I" have no access") lists only the prospective base salaries WITHOUT overtime."
4/3/11"

I used THIS quote made by YOU because it contains 3 BIG prevarications.

A. YOU absolutely had ACCESS to the budget. That is an EMPIRICAL FACT. I know because I used it. You just are investigativly impaired.
B. The average BASE+BENEFITS in 2011 was $130,068.60. It would have been lower in 2009 using your fuzzy math.
C. The ADOPTED budget for all monies actually "took in" in 2009 was 12.2 million, the ACTUAL expenditure was 11.6 million, personnel count in 2011 was 129. Considering there were unfilled vacancies I will still use 129 personnel assigned under the PD budget in 2011 as the head count in 2009. That averages the salary, INCLUDING overtime $86,821.70.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
4. "The true salaries of the STPD officers have NEVER been revealed by the Town for the simple reason that such as disclosure would instigate a taxpayer's revolt against everyone in office who approved them (and hid them.)"
4/3/11

I used this quote to point out that even after informing you over and over you continued with FAKE NEWS. YOU don't research. Notice the emphasis on NEVER...I still shudder, that's scary, then I remember it takes .54 seconds for Google to ease my fears set in place by a mythomaniac. Really HHS? Hiding numbers, revolts?

5."Here's the link to the STPD salary chart on the Town government site which you COULD HAVE posted but didn't since it shows in black and white that you are either lying or ignorant."

Another FAKE NEWS report. Again, I have to point out to you OVER AND OVER, there is an ADOPTED BUDGET.....then the year end ACTUAL BUDGET. 2009 ADOPTED was 12.2 million, ACTUAL spending was 11.6.

You are most certainly no math wizard, mythomaniac yes.

Why not address my prior post number by number and prove me wrong? I thought I made it clear.....maybe not clear enough for you, I just don't know how to dumb it down any more than it is.

___________________________________________________________________________________

@Z

Please, I can only deal with one mythomaniac at a time. Until I get back to you why not research your FAKE NEWS. I will give you some ground balls to start (that is a sport reference to the game of baseball, it means they will be easy)

Staying on topic:

1. " Also, if I remember right, a member of the board does not remain on active duty."
4/5/11

2. "All officers are members of the PBA"
4/8/11

And your biggest and best in the FAKE NEWS category:

3. "Belief in a "God" is the single greatest cause of death and war in human history. Yet another fabled "Christian" who doesn't even know the "laws" and contents of his fabled "Good Book"."

Get me some answers with references proving the things you say, or remain as someone who holds a fatuous, illegitimate and completely baseless opinion with a perplexing amount of self-righteousness.

" Apr 9, 18 8:14 PM

@HHS

I have noticed in th past your use of animal sounds as a prop. I now have the perfect sound for you to begin each of your mythomaniac postings.

"QUACK-QUACK"
(A Duck)

I guess it would be hard to decipher numbers with decimal points, I should have rounded to dumb it down to make it easier for the mathematically challenged. I will sum it up for you without numbers, in this matter you are ignorant and fatuous.

Simple.

Now I prove it.

I agree with you on one hand, bring in the county. They have had plans to triple the patrol force in like sized departments (riverhead) which would help with your now irrelevant catching bad guys in the act argument.

On the other hand, YOU clearly are at a COMPLETE loss of all things financial, investigative, mathematical, and just common sense. Your BLIND, IRRATIONAL, IRRELEVANT, vendetta against the STPD would cost the Southampton Town taxpayers THOUSANDS.

Why don't you go on over to and look at the top county employees, compare it the top town employees, and tell me who makes more financial sense? Or is this a corruption thing? Then go look up James Burke.

You can answer any of my question posted here or in previous retorts, when you have a legitimate response, but you won't because you can't.

ERGO, remain as someone who holds a fatuous, illegitimate and completely baseless opinion with a perplexing amount of self-righteousness.

" Apr 10, 18 8:05 AM

Ill give you ONE question.

Can you show how, with references and documentation, a 2% raise is 160% of the rate of inflation from 2011 to 2018?

Your answer will help clear up your statment below, and prove you do not spread FAKE news.

"1) A salary increase of 2% (accepting YOUR figures) is 160% of the inflation rate. This is "salary creep", a remuneration in excess of inflation for no meritorious reason. It has been going on since the Rockefeller governorship forty years ago and is one of the principle causes of the stupendous STPD salaries of today."
HHS 4/9/18

" Apr 10, 18 4:59 PM

Alright, I came up wit a few others. Please answer.

1. Did you or did you not state that the BASE PAY for an STPD officer in 2009 was $130,000.00?

2. Is that a true and accurate statement?

3. Did you or did you not state in 2011 ""The average base salary of an STPD officer, including benefits but excluding overtime, was $$130K as posted on the Town website two years ago. Some took in over $$200K."?

4. Is this a true and factual statement?

5. Did you state in 2011 that you had no access to the town budget?

6. Was this a true and factual statement?

7. Did you state in 2011 "The true salaries of the STPD officers have NEVER been revealed by the Town for the simple reason that such as disclosure would instigate a taxpayer's revolt against everyone in office who approved them (and hid them.)"?

8. Is this a true and factual statement?

9. Did you state in 2018 " "Your implication that I post "fake news" is a bald-faced lie. In fact, I never have"?

10. Is this in fact a true empirical statement?

There.....10 yes or no question that you are able to answer, because

"If you actually CAN form a question, I will be happy to answer it." You stated this, and I have.

And 1 definition question

What is the definition of fake news?" Apr 11, 18 12:19 AM

1. Can you then explain, since you answered "yes" to:
[ "The true salaries of the STPD officers have NEVER been revealed by the Town for the simple reason that such as disclosure would instigate a taxpayer's revolt against everyone in office who approved them (and hid them.)"?]

And then "Yes" to:
[8. Is this a true and factual statement?]

1. HOW did you find the information used in a statement made by you in question #1, another "yes" which states an officers BASE PAY two years prior to 2011 if it was hidden and NEVER made public?

2. Can you explain how you were able to see a "secret document" in government possession protected to prevent an uprising?

3. Did you state "Besides telling us what she is talking about here, perhaps she could also tell us HOW MUCH MORE we are paying these folks over the $130/K base pay apiece that we were paying them two years ago (the last time that base pay figures were publicly available [under Supervisor Kabot's tenure]). " on April 2, 2011 at 12:59?

4. Can you stand behind your statement unequivocally as Empirical Fact?

5. Did you state "The budget (to which "I" have no access") lists only the prospective base salaries WITHOUT overtime." On April 3, 2011?

6. Is it true Empirical Fact that indeed you had no access to the town budget on that date? And if so, can you explain how you were able to know what the budget would and would not contain?

Here you go with fuzzy, now incorrect math.
The rate of inflation is yearly deduced, raises are yearly given. Apple's to Apple's. We are using averages of a 2% raise a year against the rate of inflation for that year.
The average rate of inflation for that 8 year period is 1.65%. The average cola for that period is 1.56%. Total increase in living 3.21%. That's the YEAR to YEAR average. Your statement was

"A salary increase of 2% (accepting YOUR figures) is 160% of the inflation rate."

Not

A salary increase of 16% (accepting YOUR figures) is 160% of the inflation rate.

Which would still put you in the bald-face box of toys.

Please feel free to happily answer my questions." Apr 11, 18 11:20 AM

GOOD LORD!

WHAT IS THAT!?!?!?

YOU have taken fuzzy math and your mathematical disability to a new height! I take twenty from page two divide by 84% and arrive at a COMPLETE bucket of BS.

FIRST, and FOREMOST, this has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with PD salaries, I could care less. What it DOES have to do with is honesty, integrity and the consistent misinformation you and your comrade spread around in a self righteous indignant form.

You consistently pick and choose what to answer, and if you do answer, you change the question....BUT still can't get the right answer.

Inflation is defined as an increase in the overall price level.
The CPI represents prices paid by consumers.

Why did you not state 2%(accepting YOUR figures) is 160% of the CONSUMER PRICE index if THAT was what you were going to use to come up with some FAR fetched number. 2% cannot be 16%.

REGARDLESS of the complete and utter BULL you come up with, that math equation nonsense is RIDICULOUSLY FLAWED.

ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS go to the 2011 budget, the one you claim does not exist in any public form but can be found at www.southamptontownny.gov, and count the number of OFFICERS on the payroll. (69) add up the BASE SALARIES that are listed under BASE SALARIES (6,554,838)and divide the two for an average BASE SALARY (94,997.65)

If you care to throw overtime in...the TOTAL for the ENTIRE staff was750,000.(that's P.O., Admin, traffic control, crossing guards, etc.)

Health care for just these 69 cops, $1,060,128( roughly, benefits are not the same for all)

Dental, $232,226.

Feel free to actually DO SOME WORK.

Numbers may be slightly off, but certainly not by TENS OF THOUSANDS, you can't seem to do any math and get it right." Apr 12, 18 1:10 AM

HEAVEN'S TO BETSY!

Are YOU capable of telling the truth.....FOR ONCE!!!

I am completely dumbfounded at the disregard for HONEST and TRANSPARENT debate shown by you hat.

YOU stated the overall cost to taxpayers, back in 2011, was north of $200k. On April 2011.
NOW YOU state the AVERAGE cost to taxpayer 7 years later is $195k? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? THAT'S LESS THAN YOUR 2011 STATED AMOUNT! Can you please decide what fautuos number to use?

At first it was a Base salary of $130k in 2009, then it was $150k and went from a P.O. to a SGT., then it was $141k, NOW it is $164k? Again, pick a rank and pick a fatuous number.

If I were you I'd sue your mathematics teacher for letting you loose on the planet REALITY and not what ever planet YOU are from.

I....HAVE....GIVEN....YOU....THE.......LINK......YOU.......NEED.

Multiple times.

Go to "search", type in B.....U......D.....G....E.....T.

every budget from 2010 till today is RIGHT THERE MAN!!

ADOPTED BUDGETS and ACTUAL BUDGETS.

I have given you the head count of P.O.'s in 2011, found here
https://www.southamptontownny.gov/Archive.aspx?ADID=202
Total P.O.'s=69

I have given you the BASE SALARY of all 69 added together from this source
https://www.southamptontownny.gov/Archive.aspx?ADID=202
Total BASE SALARY=$$6,568,836 ( these are actual real verifiable numbers)

Divide $6,568,836 by 69=$95,200.52 BASE SALARY FOR 2011

Go to:
https://www.southamptontownny.gov/Archive.aspx?ADID=202

LOOK FOR THE HEADING "TOTAL COMP AND BENEFITS"
this lists all sorts of benefits BESIDES just health and dental.
ADD UP THE 69 OFFICERS TOTAL=$10,800,733.00
DIVIDE BY THE NUMBER OF OFFICERS, 69= $156,532.36
$156,532.26 IS THE ACTUAL PAID FOR AVERAGE.

THE BASE SALARY AND BENEFITS IN 2011 IS
$156,532.26.

It is all right there, I did not know I had to hold your hand to the honesty park. My obsession is with the self righteousness of certain members of this community to say whatever they feel like and spread FAKE NEWS.

CLEARLY THAT WOULD BE YOU.
(and mr z)

NOW, going further, if you are unwilling to take the time to post honest information, not hearsay, not imaginary numbers, not FAKE NEWS, I have SOUNDLY and CLEARLY exposed you as someone who holds a fatuous, illegitimate and completely baseless opinion with a perplexing amount of self-righteousness.

AND ON TOP OF ALL THIS MISINFORMATION

I DID NOT vote for TRUMP.
I wrote in a candidate I felt was better suited than both my disgusting options. But I am glad he won, and not that weasel what's her face, collusion is actually being under federal investigation and "bumping into" the head honcho of federal investigations on an airstrip, while law enforcement surrounds the aircraft to keep any looky loos more than 100 feet away.

" Apr 12, 18 5:26 PM

@highhatsize...aka mr. mythomaniac,

I'm pretty comfy ending this now after your complete exposure as someone who holds a fatuous, illegitimate and completely baseless opinion with a perplexing amount of self-righteousness.

It was rather easy to do actually, but I enjoyed it non the less.

If you wish to engage in the future here is a hint for YOU,

Don't.
" Apr 13, 18 9:36 AM

Thanks for jumping in fore, if only you knew what you were talking about it would matter, but you don't, your just a blind follower.

This ENTIRE debate was about whether or not hhs has been honest and never posted FAKE NEWS. hhs would like it to be about something else, ergo his salary nonsense which I again could care less about.

Why don't you go over the debate, see if you would care to see the light.

FORE: go sit in the corner for a timeout. " Apr 13, 18 5:32 PM

Seriously, Pay attention.

YOU stated in $130k in 2009, YOU stated you had no access to budgets, YOU stated it was a BASE SALARY, then added all sorts of mumbo jumbo.

AGAIN

I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE SALARIES

I care about a self righteous mythomaniac who can state to have NEVER posted FAKE NEWS when clearly I have shown time and time again THAT declaration is in itself indeed FAKE NEWS.

YOU are at a loss and have idea what YOU have actually stated.

Please, you are embarrassing yourself now along the lines of Mr. Z and his "belief in God" nonsense." Apr 14, 18 5:16 PM

@HHS

Interesting, my "dumpster loads" of seven year old quotes of yours are exactly that, dumpster worthy quotes.

Then the "misdirect attention" seems to be what you were doing by continually brining the debate to 2018 instead of what it was truly about, your lack of truthfulness.

Your initial claim was in fact that:(unedited)
"Besides telling us what she is talking about here, perhaps she could also tell us HOW MUCH MORE we are paying these folks over the $130/K base pay apiece that we were paying them two years ago (the last time that base pay figures were publicly available [under Supervisor Kabot's tenure])."

Oops, my bad. I find it's difficult keeping tabs on the many false statements you have made and posted the incorrect link. Here is the correct link,

I reported this comment as innappropriate for a number of reasons, but the glaring one being the continued lies you post. You sir, are the worst of all the trolls on any blog. Find one member of the STPD PBA with that base salary, then come back and apoligize for the ignorance, the half truths, the stupidity. Your volunteer FD taxes are higher than the PD service. You use alot of big words for such small man. All salaries are posted in the budget. So continue with the nonsense, some village must really miss their idiot somewhere.

It was here that your faithful companion decided to place his nose where it doesn't belong, so I placed it back for him.

CLEARLY, your honesty was what I called into question IMMEDIATELY.

And, in typical liar in a lie fashion, you change your lie quickly, but it still doesn't hold water, and is still to this day, a lie. The old "little white lie snowball".

I believe I have discovered the root of your ignorance and mythomania. You have no idea what you are arguing. You are lost. You are ill equipped. You are essentially spinning statements trying to find one that sticks as if to almost seem valid.

Why don't you take some time to figure it all out before embarrassing yourself further. Start with an easy one, the definition of "cop".

I can wait." Apr 15, 18 6:56 PM

@HHS

I have given you numerous times to walk away, you must enjoy the beating.

A liar, when confronted with the FACT that they have lied, will alter the original lie in an attempt to make it work. There is no "fake cite", only your cite.....wait, that makes it a FAKE CITE.

Follow along

You posted $130k BASE salary, I called you out as a liar, you changed your original $130k BASE salary to $130k BASE plus BENEFITS. You probably wished nobody noticed your original $130k BASE salary nonsense in hopes of continuing the lie for dramatic effect. Too bad.

You stated you had no access to the budget. I called you out and gave you the budget on a silver platter.

Another one of you unstable cites is the 2% raise 160% the rate of inflation gibberish. Again confronted with a lie, you change 2% to 16% and try to gloss over the lie with a tedious amount of more gibberish. Diareah of the mouth, almost seems to be a chronic condition.

And you continue, to this day, lie about what an STPD cop cost taxpayers in 2011. I understand the math is difficult, I explained it to you and the readers ad nauseum.
THE BASE SALARY AND BENEFITS IN 2011 IS $156,532.26. I know, I know, you don't like lots of numbers and decimal points. Mathematically impaired and all. AND that is every single "benefit"(the town paying into FICA is not a benefit really, but i used it to raise the average as high as possible), not just health and dental. That totals $130,068.60.

I have asked you to disengage until you are fully capable, again you clearly are not.
You still have no understanding of the topic, let alone what the topic is actually about. It is quite clear that this is not a salary problem with you, you have some demented vendetta against the STPD cops, proven by your desire to bring in the SCPD which would cost the taxpayer 400% of their current tax bill for service. Interestingly enough, since you beat the taxpayer revolt drum, the PD tax in 2009 was 4.44%, in 2011 it was 3.77%, in 2013 it was 3.6%, and finally in 2017.....3.46%

I paid a grand total of $$312.75

Suffolk county residents saw their PD taxes go up $58.65 this year alone.

http://www.longislandernews.com/the-long-islander-archives/legislators-sound-off-on-suffolks-306b-budget

You have no idea what you are arguing. You are lost. You are ill equipped. You are essentially spinning statements trying to find one that sticks as if to almost seem valid.

NOW go away. You are done here.

It is clear you just don't like the STPD, and will say anything true or false to try and sway the reader into your petty, irrelevant, childish point of view. All the facts are listed. I applaud the town for lowering my portion of the Police portion of my tax bill by almost 1% while still affording the men and women of the department a modest pay increase.

Bravo." Apr 16, 18 5:59 PM

@z

Welcome back lightning bug, figure out what the greatest cause of death and war in human history is yet? Maybe try to get a good night sleep on it sparky.

@HHS

AGAIN we enter the hat spin zone. You really need to do some research before displaying you ignorance brilliantly.

You use the top 32 on the town payroll to spin this $195k average
"$195,000/yr. - - - the top 32 spots on the town payroll? "

That is ALL ranks of the department, not cops like you would have the reader believe.

Definition of "cop"
cop noun
1. a police officer.

Understand the titles if you wish to sound less doltish.

Then you use NYPD cops $91k, which is BASE PAY, against STPD lieutenants, captain, sergeant, detectives.

This equates to FAKE NEWS, something you are so familiar with.

APPLE'S to APPLE'S, base pay (top)STPD $121,000
Base pay (top)NYPD $87,424

(Banned cite)

ALSO, Suffolk county police tax is 2.95% per $1,000.00
Southampton Town police tax is 0.38% per $1,000.00

(More banned cites)

So your new ignorant childish ilconcieved statement would be something like this

"$255,000/yr. - - - the top 20 spots on the town payroll?

Hands for those who think that this is reasonable."
HHS (hand up proud)

Your plan of replacing the "stupendous overpaid" STPD would increase taxpayer responsibility astronomically.

And if you are not concerned about a man charged with stalking on school groundswith a loaded rifle magazine in his pocket and a loaded rifle in his car, I've completely underestimated your ignorance...it is boundless." Apr 20, 18 12:01 AM

@HHS

You have spun so much misinformation to attempt to legitimize your childish, small minded, ignorant, and petty gripe with the STPD it's difficult toremember what lie came where in the debate. (Interestingly enough, you never mention the parity between all east end PD's you little crusader you.)

It is well established, I'll say empirical fact, that math is as foreign to you as common sense. Examples would be the 2% raise is 160% the rate of inflation, then it was 16% raise is 150% rate of inflation. I could go on, but it's all in your comments for anyone who wishes to bore themselves and reread the minutia of a mathematically impaired mythomaniac.

"(Even using your OWN figures, STPD cops are paid 140% of NYPD salaries.)"
Whiskey tango foxtrot is THAT? Even for the mathematically impaired this is blatantly deceptive. Typical fuzzy math. STPD cops make 30% more than NYPD cops.

NYC cost of living 180.
Southampton Town cost of living 280.9

Your "answer" by "science" will most likely be refuted and re "answered" by "science" while my "spider silk strand" will hold with the strength of time. Since the beginning civilizations have believed in a power greater than themselves, and it wasn't until His Son came did the answer appear.

ALL religions believe in Jesus. Judaism, Islam, Ahmadiyya, Bahá’í, Hinduism, Buddhism, and the New Age Movement.

One man transcends time and religion, your "science" barely scratches it's way across a few years in comparison, and fails itself.

You, like your "science", fails. You happen to fail more miserably.

"but as long as religion isn't a footnote in history"
Religion is living history. Even the simplest mind can see that.

"Belief in a "God" is the single greatest cause of death and war in human history."
You have ABSOLUTELY no proof of your statement. Scientific, historical, or any other study to attribute to this nonsense. You lash out and attack me for my belief, then offer some Linux operating system that in itself is debated upon as far as a definition, seriously?

I believe in Science. True science, that cannot explain all things. That is where my God resides, in the realm beyond explanations.

IN GOD WE TRUST
ONE NATION, UNDER GOD
GOD BLESS AMERICA....

And the original

By the President of the United States of America.

A Proclamation.

Whereas, the Senate of the United States, devoutly recognizing the Supreme Authority and just Government of Almighty God, in all the affairs of men and of nations, has, by a resolution, requested the President to designate and set apart a day for National prayer and humiliation.

And whereas it is the duty of nations as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord.

And, insomuch as we know that, by His divine law, nations like individuals are subjected to punishments and chastisements in this world, may we not justly fear that the awful calamity of civil war, which now desolates the land, may be but a punishment, inflicted upon us, for our presumptuous sins, to the needful end of our national reformation as a whole People? We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven. We have been preserved, these many years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth and power, as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us!

It behooves us then, to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins, and to pray for clemency and forgiveness.

Now, therefore, in compliance with the request, and fully concurring in the views of the Senate, I do, by this my proclamation, designate and set apart Thursday, the 30th. day of April, 1863, as a day of national humiliation, fasting and prayer. And I do hereby request all the People to abstain, on that day, from their ordinary secular pursuits, and to unite, at their several places of public worship and their respective homes, in keeping the day holy to the Lord, and devoted to the humble discharge of the religious duties proper to that solemn occasion.

All this being done, in sincerity and truth, let us then rest humbly in the hope authorized by the Divine teachings, that the united cry of the Nation will be heard on high, and answered with blessings, no less than the pardon of our national sins, and the restoration of our now divided and suffering Country, to its former happy condition of unity and peace.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the United States to be affixed.

Done at the City of Washington, this thirtieth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three, and of the Independence of the United States the eighty seventh.

By the President: Abraham Lincoln

"No matter who is in any office today, they have a huge mess to clean up thanks to Ayn Rand, Alan Greenspan, and Bill Clinton, to name the top three.

Ayn Rand was a Russian born author under communism, and the post Bolshevik revolution Soviet Union. Her most famous work is probably "Atlas Shrugged", and she believed in a "lassiez faire" take on economics. Her greatest disciple was Alan Greenspan, who ran the treasury for about twenty years. His view on NOT regulating the economy allowed for shady deals, and a dark, opaque, unregulated market all over Wall St.

There was one voice of dissent, and her name was Brooksley Born, former head of the CTFC, which potentially had control over the derivatives market. She warned that an economic implosion would be the result of an unregulated derivatives market back in the late nineties. She was silenced by Alan Greenspan, Larry Somers, Timothy Geithner, Gary Ginsler, and Alan Levitt (who later recanted his behavior).

It was a COMPLETELY unregulated derivatives market that drove up the cost of everything from a bottle of milk, to a house, to a barrel of oil. Wall St. bankers pocketed millions, billions, in some cases trillions, and America, as well as the world, has paid the price for this folly.

The last straw was when Bill Clinton signed the GLBA into law, which not only changed the definition of certain marketable securites, and repealed key aspects of the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933, but allowed for the creation of "Mega-Banks" like Citigroup.

A boatload of good checks and balances enacted after the Great Depression by Herbert Hoover, and some really good Congressmen were repealed, and Capitalism was permitted to run unregulated, unfettered, and rampant until the market's implosion in less than a decade after the GLBA (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act) was signed into law.

Do your research, educate yourself, and sling less mud.

So you condone violence as a means to repress free speech, albeit vile speech, and claim THAT patriotism?

YOU are part of the problem.

"Getting shouted down in the public square because you're chanting "blood and soil" is the most American thing ever"

Is that all that happened? Or did they deny the right of Americans the ability to peacefully assemble with violence?

Funny how you cherry pick, did BLM respond appropriately to the false narrative that they carry to this day? Was it "Patriotc" to ambush Police Officers because of a false narrative, resorting to violence ahead of justice?

Is it American to deny one group of people the right to celebrate a proud moment in their heritage because another feels a misconceived slight?

Americans using violence against Americans is never acceptable except in self defense of person or property. Your condoning violence is as un-patriotic as it comes. Take a look in the mirror, you may have more in common with Germany circa 1938 than you think.

I suppose that's as close to an apology for calling me out as I will receive. My reading comprehension skills are not so bad after all.

"Also, I can't help but notice that you would require such a conspiracy between a foreign government and a domestic political campaign to actually "change the vote." For me, and in my understanding of the statute, it's enough that a thing of value was solicited or accepted, for example ad buys or opposition research."

"For me, and in my understanding of the statute, it's enough that a thing of value was solicited or accepted"

Fore, if a foreign government has information on a candidate for POTUS that is so detrimental to that candidacy, why would it be a criminal act to supply that information. If it happened to be England who had such valuable Intel, would it still be such a criminal act? I understand supplying it to another candidacy is improper, but as we have seen over the course of this investigation, multiple agencies were not acting in a completely unbiased manner. (Investigative and media)

"for example ad buys or opposition research."
Ad buys or research are completely different and poor examples of your sentence. A piece of valuable intelligence is a singular thing, ad buys or research are too simplistic to be considered criminal. The U.S. has been influencing foreign government and their elections for decades.

All but 4 polls had HRC trouncing Trump in the election. THAT didnt change until election night with the results. If ad buys influenced the general election, it did minimal damage. HRC did more damage to her own candidacy than any outside force, "bucketful of deplorables" really?

I would have hoped by now the investigation would have ANYTHING if what DT did was indeed criminal to begin a process to remove him. I don't think ANY poster here wants a criminal as POTUS, at least I hope not.

As for Obama, if it is found that he was aware of this "foreign criminal influence", he did not act to protect the American people and is an accessory to the crime and a traitor to the United States of America." Aug 4, 18 10:12 AM

"God is in quotes in the first one, so you're dead wrong on the first statement. There has also been "God on the throne" in human history. Slavery is older than Christianity, so wrong again."

Yeah, I know, what doltish speak is THAT?!?

This person has a history of the "POST AND RUN" or the standard "You wont understand" to separate from the idiocies of the post.

Crazy, I know, but this individual has posted 10,325 times and the arrogance is only outweighed by the ignorance.
