NY Times Poll: Zeldin Leads Gershon, 49-41, In Upcoming Congressional Race

Voice your opposition to the Peaceful Communities Protection Act presented to the Southampton Town Board by OLA. This would codify a policy of noncooperation between the town Police Department and the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE.
Perry Gershon endorses noncooperation as well.

Gershon claimed that Lee planted what he described as a “phony story” about his oil and gas investments and that Lee didn’t understand what an infrastructure investment was. The infrastructure Gershon supports is in fact LOOP. Gershon is a hypocrite and his interests are not in alignment with his statements on fossil fuels, clean air, and coastal concerns. Zeldin, Gershon And The Two Issues That Are Defining 2018

The Obama administration, under its stealthy border externalization program, was complicit in the separation of more children and family units than Trump ever did. The separations occurred at Siglo XXI detention facility with direct U.S. Customs and Border Protection involvement, CBP presence at Siglo XXI, and was funded by the US. Want sources FBHBG? I have plenty of them and they’re not from Breitbart or Fox News. Dig deep and you will find.

Zeldin, Gershon Spar, Parry In Home Stretch Of Campaign

Mets Fan, It’s not that they can’t get people to do the work, many employers don’t want to pay legal payroll overhead, seeking out illegal labor to increase their bottom lines. Legal payroll overhead adds as much as 40% onto the cost of conducting “legitimate” business which includes paying Worker’s comp, SUI, liability insurance, and employer’s share of FICA/Medicare contributions. I know many highly skilled artisan contractors and tradespeople, as well as laborers, who work circles around the unskilled illegals in both quality and productivity and gladly do the crap jobs that you claim nobody wants to do. I see a lot of talented blue collar Americans scratching around for work, picking up odd jobs whenever they can just to sustain, even in our current economy. Try going to the Southampton Chase drive through at dusk on Fridays. It’s worse than the 7-11. There you will see the labor whores withdrawing and handing out cash to the illegal hoards standing along the roadside. Are you familiar with the term money laundering? It’s disgusting. June Bug, I am in total agreement with you. I made the suggestion in a prior comment that illegal immigrants are the exploited victims, yet reviled. Cause and effect need to be defined, illegal immigrants not being the cause, the cause being persistently overlooked. I agree that we would not be having this debate if as much attention were given to the cause as is given to the more often “demonization” of the illegal immigrant, particularly under this administration." Zeldin Wins Election To Third Term, But Democrats See Other Victories

They did publicize it, showing the video on Fox News where one member chanted mail bomb. The video can be found @ the Washington Times, “Stephen Colbert: Antifa mob at Tucker Carlson's house showed 'monstrous cowardice”" Nov 8, 18 9:48 PM

UPDATE: Lee Zeldin Defeats Perry Gershon In 1st District Congressional Race

They also crossed the line and broke the law by violating noise ordinances by utilizing an amplified device exceeding the 55 dB(A) evening noise limits in a residential district, sound being measured at the property line. The chanting likely exceed unamplified voice noise limits as well, 55 dB(A) being the level of someone talking in a “normal” conversation. The gathering was disorderly and menacing, and wasn’t just a group simply exercising their 1st amendment rights. Protests and gatherings are codified under DC law. Please note the word “menace” in the code section below:

DCMR 20, Sec. 2700.1:
It is the declared public policy of the District that every person is entitled to ambient noise levels that are not detrimental to life, health, and enjoyment of his or her property. It is hereby declared that excessive or unnecessary noises within the District are a menace to the welfare and prosperity of the residents and businesses of the District. It is the declared public policy of the District to reduce the ambient noise level in the District to promote public health, safety, welfare and the peace and quiet of the inhabitants of the District, and to facilitate the enjoyment of the natural attraction of the District. Zeldin Wins Election To Third Term, But Democrats See Other Victories

It’s “enforceable law” of the place, not public policy of the place, and a disorderly conduct crime in the District based on the levels stated, punishable by up to 90 days in jail.

§ 22–1321. Disorderly Conduct
(d) It is unlawful for a person to make an unreasonably loud noise between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. that is likely to annoy or disturb one or more other persons in their residences.

My point is that by the definition of the laws pertaining to the District’s ordinances, the gathering was both disorderly and menacing." Nov 11, 18 4:27 PM

At Candlelight Vigil On Thursday, Show Of Strength And Unity Is Called The Best Response To Violence

I was looking at the graffiti on the Gershon campaign sign posted on his Twitter account and I was having a very difficult time seeing a swastika. Maybe I’m missing something?? " Nov 11, 18 6:04 PM

UPDATE: Lee Zeldin Defeats Perry Gershon In 1st District Congressional Race

Jeffery Mittman, executive director for American Civil Liberties Union of Missouri:

“For example, we don’t have the right to have a noisy, raucous, protests at 2 a.m. in a residential neighborhood, generally,” he said. “Violent criminal activity is not protected speech.” " Nov 13, 18 10:53 AM

What's Next For Perry Gershon

One thing I couldn’t understand was the campaign sign with the alleged swastika graffiti that Gershon posted on his Twitter account. Any which way I looked at it, rotating it and looking at it from every possible perspective, even trying to view it in the most abstract sense, it just didn’t look even remotely close to being a swastika. What’s up with that???? It was about as convincing as some members here calling Lee Zeldin and “all” his supporters neo-Nazis. " Nov 13, 18 2:07 PM

East Hampton Town Sues Two Local Fire Departments, Sand Pit Owner And Chemical Companies Over Wainscott Contamination

One overlooked source of PFO’s are those used in latex and low/no VOC paints. WB paints typically contain 50-150 mg PFO/kg. They are suspected class 2B carcinogens. How much of this stuff do you think ends up in the ground with all the construction and renovation projects going on. The disposal of such including rinse water isn’t regulated." Dec 29, 18 4:19 PM

Advocacy Groups Promote State Bill Allowing Undocumented Immigrants To Get Driver's Licenses

I’m wondering how the current DMV infrastructure will support the sudden onslaught of illegal aliens applying for licenses. I remember reading about CT DMV and the delays/long waiting times when a similar program was implemented. CT DMV even had to shut down, the system becoming overly burdened, not being able to handle the increased volume.

I’m really in opposition of putting the cart before the horse on this. " Jan 22, 19 10:22 AM
