Local Stakeholders Take DEC And Sand Land To Court, Seeking To Block Settlement

Yes there's a problem because it was just a sand mine for a vast majority of those years and not a compost/mulching operation that's contaminating the fresh water aquifer beneath it and contaminating the water affects everyone on the East End." Apr 25, 19 3:58 PM

What are you saying? If you're a local you don't complain? Or unless you're a local you can't complain? I think anyone would complain if the activities at Sand land were contaminating the fresh water aquifer beneath. And it is so residents have every right to complain whether they've lived in the area a long time or just came in recently. Everyone should be concerned and complain when our only fresh water is threatened by unsafe practices." Apr 25, 19 4:12 PM
